I finished up the second Soviet company. One more to go. The last picture is what I have so far for my Soviet infantry list. Up front is the company commander, 2IC, Komissar and sniper. Behind is green company and blue company.
I may wave the white flag from painting. I am playing fearless/trained army. My son wanted me to do fearless/conscript which would have added a whole lot more squads.
Yes, I am working on the third company already. No I am not doing conscript. Making a move during the game will take a long time as it is with this many squads.
There are three levels to an army. Veteran, Trained and Conscript. The game is played by dice rolls. A Veteran gets hit on a 4+ roll. Trained 3+ and conscript 2+. So a conscript is easy to kill but because of that you can put more of them on the table. So if I did a conscript army I would put a lot more minis on the table.
