Finished all the flesh for the last company. Onward to the helmets.

They are still coming

I finished up the second Soviet company. One more to go. The last picture is what I have so far for my Soviet infantry list. Up front is the company commander, 2IC, Komissar and sniper. Behind is green company and blue company.

My hobby club is going to do a Flames of War Stalingrad big game. We have a lack of Soviet players and my son has more than enough soviet models that we can both play so I volunteered. Problem is most of his Soviet infantry is not painted. So know I am knee deep in painting Soviet infantry. My list has three campaniles with two platoons each. That is 54 stands with 4 figures each. (I know Soviet stands should have 5 figures each, but I have to draw the line somewhere)

I have the first of the three companies done.

Mordheim Fences

Here are some fences I made for Mordheim. I went the long route and hand cut thin strips of wood from a 1" x 2". When I showed them to a friend he asked if they were Popsicle sticks. No, that would have been too smart.

Mordheim Terrain

I started building terrain for Mordheim. This is the first of six pieces. I want to build them so they can be put together any which way so you don't have to play the same board every time.

So now my son and I are involved with Mordheim. I love this game because it is an RPG. I am playing a Dwarf band. My son is playing Kislevites.

Good news, my Dwarfs are painted.

Bad news, my leader died last week. He was captured and sent to the fight pit where after seven rounds of bitch slapping he finally fell and was defeated.
