Spackle Used

The bondo almost got me there but there, but not quite. For the finishing touches I went to spackle. There are a few spots I need to touch up but I am going to prime it at this point then do the final touch ups.

Bondo used

Not crazy about the bondo. My first mistake was mixing too much hardener in. Next  mistake is it dries fast so I need to work fast. I also put on too heavy a layer. But I worked all that out the next few uses and started to get the hang of it. Also I have to work smoother. Sanding bondo is the pits.

Bondo

It has been a long time in between but the helmet is seeing action again. This will be my first time using bondo.

Dome glued

Finished gluing the dome. It came out alright. The next step will be bondo. I hope it corrects the mistakes.

Mandalorian Helmet continues

Got the outer shell on. All that is left for the main part is the top dome.

Mandalorian

My son wants to dress as a Mandalorian for Connecticon. First step is making the helmet. We found a great step by step online. Here is the beginning phase. So far so good.

Another unit done

Just finished another unit of Dacians. Slowly but surely I am getting to the finish line.
